The eponymous 'Tanker' series from Porter uses since its introduction in 1983 an original fabric, which was developed after the motif of the US Air Force flight jacket 'MA-1'. The three-layer fabric of nylon twill, polyester cotton and nylon taffeta is very lightweight and captivates with the soft feel of the binding material and the bright rescue orange inside.
